Robert Bruce Henry, 74, Hamlet, Indiana and formerly of Oblong, Illinois passed away at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the VNA Hospice Care, Valparaiso, Indiana. Born in Oblong, Illinois on October 6, 1937, he was the son of Elmer Everett Henry and Bernice Irene (Snider). He was a graduate of Oblong High School ~ Class of 1956. He was employed as a machine operator and in maintenance for Keyes Fibre, Hammond, Indiana. He was a member of the Southlake County Agricultural Historical Society and the Missouri Valley Wrench Club. His hobby was collecting antique wrenches.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert & Kelly Henry Jr. and Kevin & Natasha Henry; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Fred Dye; a step-son, Tony Cooper; a step-daughter, Lisa Cooper-Fagan; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Mack & Carolyn Henry, Richard & Barb Henry and Clair & Susie Henry; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty Hannah, Eileen Randolph, Sue & Bill Shoemaker, Judy & Jim Mann and two sisters-in-law, Diana Henry-Aten and Carol Henry.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Jim and Roger Henry and one infant sister, Norma Henry.
